The Delivery Manager - Solution Delivery will work with Vistex customers on multiple engagements at any given time to successfully deliver assigned projects, build client relationships and drive new business opportunities. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Project Management principles, disciplines and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. 


  • Lead the pursuit of implementation scoping and estimating efforts for assigned clients
  • Build client relationships
  • Manage project status, issues/risks and client expectations and escalate as needed
  • Manage consultant’s project tasks, including time and expenses entry and exceptions
  • Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount and deliverable completion including expenses where applicable
  • Develop and manage milestone plans with key activities and dependencies
  • Assist in pre-sales activities for implementation services
  • Assist in building best practices and benchmarks from completed projects
  • Understanding in Business processes and SAP system architecture
  • Identify and close new service opportunities for clients
  • Create and Manage Contracts (SOW’s/CR’s)
  • Manage 4-6 clients at any given time


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-7 years of SAP project management experience
  • Order to Cash & Finance area
  • Experience in multiple SAP full lifecycle software implementations
  • Independent thinking with keen problem solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Knowledge of Vistex software a plus
  • Experience working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms a plus
  • Experience in Life Sciences and/or Food Service industry a big plus
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
